Carrier Directory

The bundled TrackingMore V4 snapshot contains 1,572 unique provider codes worldwide, covering postal, express, regional, freight, and last-mile services. Common examples include UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, Australia Post, Canada Post, Royal Mail, DPD, GLS, Aramex, TNT, and regional service variants.

Curated Selectors and Full Resolution

The public GET /api/v1/carriers endpoint returns the curated rows enabled in a deployment; the current production migration installs 49. Polling is not limited to those selector rows: it can validate exact provider codes and unambiguous exact display names against the full bundled directory, then use TrackingMore detection when a trusted code is unavailable.

Use Normalized Codes

OrderTrackify stores its normalized internal carrier code alongside the tracking number. In the WooCommerce order metabox, choose from the searchable canonical carrier selector rather than typing or guessing a display name. Use Auto-detect when the provider is unknown; choose Custom only for an unlisted provider, which reveals the manual provider name and tracking URL fields. API clients should use the code returned by the Carriers API. Polling resolves the separate TrackingMore aggregator code automatically. Exact regional mappings keep services such as DPD UK, TNT Australia, Hermes Germany, Fastway New Zealand, Aramex AU, and Team Global Express distinct.

Unknown or New Carriers

Verify the tracking number and use the carrier's exact official name or provider code where available. OrderTrackify deliberately avoids broad substring and generic numeric matching; ambiguous formats are sent to TrackingMore courier detection. If a newly added upstream carrier is absent from the bundled snapshot, provide its official TrackingMore code, public tracking URL, and a non-sensitive sample format to support.
