Shopify Integration
Review the feature-gated Shopify embedded app, OAuth and webhook architecture, shipment operations, SaaS-direct notifications, and current onboarding availability.
Availability: Shopify support is implemented behind a feature flag, but direct Shopify onboarding in the OrderTrackify dashboard is currently labelled Coming soon. Use an authorised app installation link supplied by OrderTrackify; production availability depends on the deployment.
Architecture at a Glance
The embedded app provisions a store through a deployment-wide bearer bridge, Shopify OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, and signed platform webhooks ingest order/fulfilment changes. OrderTrackify polls carriers and sends eligible customer shipment emails directly through SES.
Production blocker: Replace the global bridge bearer with provisioning bound to a verified per-shop Shopify session before broad onboarding. Rotate the bearer immediately if an older deployment may have logged it.
