Delivery Ownership

For WooCommerce stores, the SaaS worker sends an HMAC-signed notification request to the plugin. The plugin performs customer delivery through WooCommerce and wp_mail(); Amazon SES does not send WooCommerce customer shipment emails.

Notification Rows

OrderTrackify → Notifications → Email shows accessible canonical status rows, enabled state, a short template summary, and the most recent outcome. Each Configure action opens the native WooCommerce email editor, which remains the only source of truth.

Rules and Outcomes

Shipment emails are operational, transactional messages. When a WooCommerce shipment email is enabled, the plugin attempts it for a valid recipient; it does not evaluate an order-level notification preference. Delivered email can wait until every tracked parcel is delivered. Pickup Reminder is a scheduled event after available-for-pickup, not a carrier status. The plugin returns channel-specific sent, skipped, or failed outcomes so the control plane does not mistake request acceptance for customer delivery.
