Supported Providers

Twilio, Vonage, ClickSend, MSG91, SMSAlert, Fast2SMS, and WhatsApp Business are supported. Only one provider is active at a time. Credentials are authenticated-encrypted in WordPress storage, displayed only as saved/not-saved state, and can be replaced or cleared.

Configure and Verify

OrderTrackify → Notifications → SMS & WhatsApp reports whether every required provider field is present. It does not make a provider API call or expose a generic test-send action because provider registration and live-send behaviour differ. Actual attempts and errors appear in the local notification log. Templates use canonical statuses; WhatsApp template name, language, and variables are applied per configured rule where the provider requires them.

Operational Delivery and Formatting

The plugin calls the provider from the merchant's WordPress infrastructure and records the actual result locally. Shipment SMS and WhatsApp messages are operational and transactional. When the channel is enabled, the plugin attempts the configured message for a valid recipient through the ready provider; it does not evaluate an order-level notification preference. Normalize destinations to E.164 and complete any required sender or template registration before enabling customer traffic.
